Bob Marley has always been an influential person in culture one way or another. His music pretty much popularized a genre, professed a religious ideal all while promoting general good will and positivity. My dad would always play this man and sing his lyrics out loud annoying the fuck out of me. So it is pretty ironic that this same man ended being a person I respect.

Thing about Bob Marley was, he was really a master of his craft. He knew what kind of impact he had and was making. He never really let anyone douse his fire. He also never concentrated about wealth and success. His terms of success were very different. It never dealt with himself. It was always a group mentality anytime he thought about success.

He also realized global politics is not really helping people. It may be helping some but not all. If you claim to be humanist, shouldn't it help everyone?
